*Students may earn a total of 7 credits per year for a total of 28 credits, however 25 credits are required for graduation.

**Graduate with distinction requires that ACT benchmarks of English 18, Math 19, Reading 20 and proof of 20 community service hours submitted to guidance.

Certain ACT scores OR GPAs are required for dual credit courses as prescribed by colleges. 

An ACT English score of 18 or GPA of 2.8 required admission to English 101/102 DC, 

 ACT Math score of 19 is required for CSC 199 

Math score of 19 or GPA of 2.8 is required for MAT 126 

ACT Reading Score of 20 is required for ENG 161 

ACT Math Score of 22 0r GPA of 3.2 is required for MAT 150 College Algebra

General college admittance for MCC requires a GPA of 2.5

Fees are required for college courses and must be paid to receive college credit.

In order to attend one of the eight public universities in Kentucky, a student must complete at least the pre-college curriculum. State graduation requirements mandate that students be enrolled in a math class each year of high school. Thus, students who take Algebra I in the eighth grade, will have to take four additional math classes.
